Sycorp Online is a cyberpunk tabletop role-playing game for adults, run by an AI game master. Sy-Town is a violent, corrupt, noir city. Play involves crime, violence, drugs, debt, betrayal, strong language and mature themes. The game does not flinch at any of that: a fight is a fight, a killing is a killing, a deal with a gang is a deal with a gang.
Intimacy exists in the fiction. Scenes of it close at the door. The game does not generate explicit sexual content, and it is not a sexual chatbot: nothing in it is designed for sexual gratification. What you type is checked by a classifier before any AI model reads it, and what the AI writes is checked again before you read it. A line that crosses the register is not played; the scene continues on the other side of the closed door, in the house's own words.
You must be 18 or older to hold an account, and you confirm that when you sign up. Inside the fiction, nobody under eighteen exists: the chip that makes someone a citizen is issued at eighteen, childhood happens outside the walls, and no child is born in the city. The engine refuses any character, person or card that presents as under eighteen, whoever writes it, and any sexual content involving minors is refused absolutely and reported.
The characters are fiction. The game does not play real people, living or dead, and nothing it writes is a statement about anyone real. A player who uses the game to harass, threaten or expose a real person, including another player, is breaking the terms.
Violence in play is never flagged. Dark themes, moral failure, addiction, cruelty by characters and consequences for it are the material of the game. The register above is the only content line the game draws.
Every check is automated at the moment it runs; every decision about an account is made by a person. Repeated attempts to force content past the register are counted on a rolling seven-day window, warned once in play, and then put in front of a human for review.
